Send a link from your computer to your phone
Open paironce.com on the computer and connect your phone once by scanning the QR code; then click Message or link, paste the address and click Send.
The link arrives on the phone a moment later; tap Open to go straight to the page, or Copy to paste it elsewhere.
It works across browsers and accounts: Chrome on Windows to Safari on iPhone is fine, with no sign-in on either side.
Step by step
- Open PairOnce on the computer. Go to paironce.com. The first time, scan the QR code with the phone’s camera and click Approve device after checking the safety code. A page opened from a QR code or link asks you to confirm first: tap Connect.
- Copy the link. Click the address bar and copy the address (Ctrl+C, or Cmd+C on a Mac).
- Send it. In PairOnce, click Message or link, paste with Ctrl+V or Paste, and click Send.
- Open it on the phone. Tap Open on the message. Keep PairOnce open on the phone, or open it there when you want to receive.
Next time it is one step
The two browsers remember each other. Open PairOnce on both, tap Connect next to the other device (or turn on automatic connection), and send. Pin the PairOnce tab on the computer to keep it one click away.
Limits, and when this is not the right tool
- A file can be up to 2 GB over a direct connection when the receiving browser saves straight to disk (Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android, Firefox on a computer, Safari on iOS 26 or later). Other browsers take up to 50 MB per file and hold 100 MB of received files at a time.
- Files over 2 GB need PairOnce Pro on one of the two devices. Then a file can be up to 10 GB, received the same way, and the relay carries 5 GB a month.
- When the two devices cannot reach each other directly, an encrypted relay carries the data. Each device can send and receive 200 MB a month that way, counted together; a direct connection has no monthly limit.
- Both pages must stay open until everything has arrived: keep the phone’s screen on and the browser in front.
- PairOnce moves things between two devices that are open at the same time. It is not cloud storage: nothing waits on a server for later.
Other ways to do it
- Chrome’s “Send to your devices”. Built in when both devices use Chrome with the same Google account; it does not reach Safari or another account.
- A QR code for the page. Chrome and Edge can show a QR code for the current page; scan it with the phone. Good for one link, no history.
- Email or message yourself. Works everywhere but is slower, and the link sits in your inbox afterwards.
- Handoff. Moves a Safari page between a Mac and an iPhone on the same Apple Account; not from Windows.
Common questions
Does the phone need to be unlocked?
The phone needs PairOnce open in the browser to receive. If it is locked or the page is in the background, open it again, let it connect, then send. Nothing is stored for later.
Can I send several links at once?
Yes. Paste them together in one message (up to 128 KB of text), and each link can be opened from the phone.
Is the link private?
Yes. It is encrypted between the two browsers; PairOnce’s server cannot read it.
